I love the feeling of finishing a set. It's up there in my joys of the hobby. I still remember finishing my first set: 1990-91 Score Hockey. One of my best friends gave me a call and let me know he'd picked up the last card I needed from the new card shop that opened down the road. Talk about gratifying. Since then I've completed a set or two more, yet the thrill isn't any less fun for me.
Today a nice parcel arrived for me from the always generous and easy-going Eric Slette. It contained a bunch of deceased Presidents, some lazy Topps photography, Joba styling a cap without a bend, a beeming Pascal and the final three cards I needed for my 2007 Upper Deck Masterpieces set. Needless to say, I was pleased.
Eric - if you're reading, I've got the house to myself Friday and I'll be hauling out the boxes and getting your Yankee friends then as I pour over the list I sent and you returned.
Here's a list of the complete haul:
106. Ruben "I Wish I Had a Better" Gotay
95. Brandon Lyon - Something about this pitch just seems way to realaxed.
134. Brandon Morrow
236. David Ross
493. Dontrelle Willis
626. Jim Edmonds
Thanks again, Eric!

Glad to help, man! After the countless Jeters you sent this summer, I knew I had to trade with you again!
