Bonds and Dice-K Added to Triple Threads Line-Up

Topps has announced a couple of last-second additions to their 2007 Topps Triple Threads Baseball checklist. Both Barry Bonds and Japanese sensation Daisuke Matsuzaka will have cards in the set.

Matsuzaka will have 3 different Triple Relic cards. One will feature actual game-thrown baseballs from his first few spring training games. The die-cut paying tribute to his famous “Gyro Ball” pitch.(image attached) All three of his Triple Relic cards will include parallels—Sepia (#’d to 27), Emerald (#’d to 18), Gold (#’d to 9), Sapphire (#’d to 3) and Platinum (1 of 1). Bonds will also have three different Triple Relic cards. Each card will include the same five parallels listed.

2007 Topps Triple Threads Baseball is scheduled for released the final week of May.
