O-Pee-Chee, a name synonymous with Canadian card collectors, has returned only with a new company. After a many-decades partnership with Topps, O-Pee-Chee is now part of the Upper Deck family as a result of Upper Deck's exclusive contract with the NHL and the NHLPA.

The 2006-07 O-Pee-Chee hockey set is the sport's biggest, with a 700-card base set. Aside from showcasing many players from all 30 NHL teams, the set will also include Team Checklists and Stat Leaders, much like classic O-Pee-Chee sets.

The inserts will be kept pretty simple. Each base card has a Rainbow parallel serial numbered out of 100. O-Pee-Chee Swatches contain game-used jerseys and appear one-per-box on average. O-Pee-Chee Autographs are the rarest find, falling 1:360 packs (1:10 boxes).
