Upper Deck Benches Michael Vick

Upper Deck announced today via press release that they've decided to pull Michael Vick from their 2007 releases. Oddly enough, they included an image of "a card that never will be" along with the same press release. While I commend their courage to take a stand, despite the fact that Vick has been convicted of nothing as of yet, I do find it a little odd that they send out the image knowing that it's going to drum up interest in the soon-to-be-released set that I will not mention. But here's the image in question anyhow.

UPDATE: Beckett.com has has a story that Donruss is removing Vick from its products as well. No word from Topps yet.
